NeuroGym Platinum Review: Price, What You Get and the Refund Catch

NeuroGym Platinum is John Assaraf’s top paid membership: $97 a month or $497 a year for 700+ guided brain-training sessions, 42+ AI coaches, four live trainings a month and the money, fear and procrastination programs. It is a legitimate business with a sales-heavy funnel, and refunds close after 7 days.

How this was reviewed: I did not buy or use Platinum for this page. It is built from NeuroGym’s own pricing, refund and terms pages and from public ratings, all read on September 30, 2026. Where the sources disagree, I say so.

TL;DR

NeuroGym Platinum costs $97 a month or $497 a year and is the plan that unlocks the whole NeuroGym library. Gold, at $47 a month or $297 a year, keeps the core sessions and courses but drops the money, fear and procrastination programs, most of the AI coaches and half the live trainings.

It suits people who want a daily brain-training habit plus John Assaraf’s money-mindset material, and who will use it for months. It does not suit anyone who wants a one-time purchase or a long refund window: the money-back guarantee lasts 7 days, annual plan included.

What is NeuroGym Platinum?

NeuroGym is the brain-training company John Assaraf founded. Its product is a subscription platform built around short guided sessions it calls innercises: visualizations, meditations, affirmations and brain-training exercises that you repeat daily, the way you would repeat a workout. The platform runs in a browser and as a mobile app, and it adds a set of AI coaches, live trainings with Assaraf and his team, and a library of multi-week programs.

There are two paid tiers, Gold and Platinum, and a free plan. Platinum is the top tier and the one NeuroGym marks “Most Popular” on its pricing page. It is also the tier that NeuroGym’s free training points toward: Assaraf’s Brainathon 3.0 summit is free to attend, and NeuroGym sells paid programs alongside it. Knowing that funnel exists is useful before you click anything.

If you want the background on the person behind it, see the John Assaraf profile. The short version is that he co-founded and ran RE/MAX of Indiana, co-founded Bamboo, wrote the New York Times bestsellers Having It All and The Answer, and appeared in “The Secret.” Those are career facts, not a measure of what the membership will do for you.

How much does NeuroGym Platinum cost?

On the official pricing page, Platinum is $97 a month or $497 a year. Paying monthly for twelve months adds up to $1,164, so the annual plan saves $667, which matches the figure NeuroGym prints. The annual price works out to about $41 a month. The break-even is short: from the sixth monthly payment on, you would have paid more than the $497 annual price.

Gold follows the same pattern at $47 a month or $297 a year, about $25 a month on the annual plan, saving $267 against monthly. The gap between the two tiers is therefore $50 a month or $200 a year.

Two details on the pricing page deserve a flag. The prices sit under a banner that calls them a “Launch Special: Lowest Price Ever (Limited Time),” so they can rise. And each plan shows a “Value” figure ($20,497 for Platinum, $9,750 for Gold). That is NeuroGym’s own valuation of the content, not a price anyone pays, and I would ignore it when comparing. The page also carries a banner saying NeuroGym is in an active crowdfunding round. That is the company raising money from the public, it has nothing to do with your membership, and nothing here is investment advice.

What is the difference between Gold and Platinum?

Gold is not a trimmed-down trial. It includes 300+ innercises, 10+ AI coaches, two live trainings a month, the members community and four courses: Winning the Game of Weight Loss, Exceptional Life Blueprint, 7 Days to a Millionaire Mindset and 100 Days to Financial Success. Platinum is everything in Gold plus the rows below.

The decision comes down to one question: do you want the programs that Gold leaves out? If your goal is the daily innercise habit and one of the four Gold courses, Gold covers it for about half the price. If the draw is Winning the Game of Money and its siblings on fear and procrastination, those are Platinum-only, and they are the reason to look at this tier.

What do you actually get inside Platinum?

Four things make up the membership. The first is the innercise library: 700+ guided sessions, each short enough to fit before work or at lunch, organized by goal such as confidence, money, health or relationships. The second is the AI coach library, 42+ coaches that NeuroGym describes as PhD-level trained, each tuned to one area of life. Platinum also adds high-fidelity voice coaching, so you can talk to a coach instead of typing.

The third is the live layer: four live coaching and expert trainings a month, private sessions and deep-dive workshops. The fourth is the programs. The ones NeuroGym names for Platinum are Winning the Game of Procrastination, Winning the Game of Fear, Winning the Game of Money and the three-day, AI-powered Business Breakthrough Challenge, with “much more” unlisted.

One limit worth knowing: NeuroGym’s terms describe the AI coaches as general educational and coaching-style support, say their output may be generated without human review, and state that the company does not guarantee its accuracy or usefulness. The site’s health content is educational and not a substitute for professional care. Treat the coaches as a practice partner, not a therapist or an adviser.

Does the 7-day money-back guarantee really protect you?

It protects you for seven days, and only for seven days. The refund policy says platform memberships carry a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase, you request it by emailing support@myneurogym.com or through the Contact Us page, and no refunds are issued for membership charges after 7 days. That includes the $497 annual plan, so a year’s fee is at risk after the first week.

There is a wording gap to watch. The pricing page FAQ answers “Is there a free trial?” with a yes and a 7-day free trial, while the guarantee box on the same page talks about refunds within 7 days of purchase. The refund policy documents only the guarantee. I could not confirm from the written policy that a paid plan starts with no charge, so read the checkout screen and see whether your card is billed today.

Two other things to keep straight. The 200% Double Your Investment Guarantee in the same policy belongs to a different program, Winning the Game of Business VIP Elite, with strict conditions, and it does not apply to Platinum. And other NeuroGym products have their own windows: the Innercise app bought directly from NeuroGym has 3 days, and the AI Acceleration Bundle has no refunds. The 7 days cover the platform membership only.

What do reviewers say about NeuroGym?

The ratings split sharply by where you look. The NeuroGym app has a 4.9 out of 5 on the US App Store from about 1,200 ratings, the category label reads “#1 Mindset & Mental Fitness,” and the reviews I read talk about confidence and daily habit. That measures the app, not the sales process.

Trustpilot is more divided. A regional copy of the NeuroGym page that I read on September 30 showed 33 reviews, roughly half of them five stars and about a third one star. Aggregators quote the overall score anywhere from about 3.6 to 4.2 depending on the snapshot, so I would not lean on a single number. The praise names Assaraf’s expertise, the course content, the community and the live sessions. The complaints name unresolved refund requests, slow email replies and long free webinars that end in an expensive pitch. NeuroGym replies to reviews and defends its pricing, and it has claimed its profile.

That last complaint is the one to hold onto. The free training and the paid plan are two steps of one funnel, and several unhappy reviewers objected to the second step arriving at the end of the first. It is not evidence that the product is fake. It is a reason to decide on price before you are in the moment.

Is NeuroGym legit?

Yes, as a business. NeuroGym LLC publishes the app under its own name, posts a written refund policy with dates, bills through Stripe and gives you a self-service cancel button. John Assaraf’s career is public and checkable, and the company has been operating since 2014 according to a third-party directory. The pattern across reviews is not a missing product but aggressive selling and uneven support, especially around refunds.

So “legit” and “a good fit for you” are different questions. The first is settled. The second depends on whether you will use it, and on whether you can live with a 7-day exit.

Who should buy NeuroGym Platinum, and who should skip it?

Platinum fits you if most of these are true:

  • You will do a short session most days and treat it as a habit, not a one-off course.
  • The Money, Fear and Procrastination programs are the reason you are here.
  • You want live trainings and private sessions, not just recorded material.
  • You can pay $97 a month, or $497 at once, without straining your budget.
  • You will test the platform inside the first week, while a refund is still possible.

Skip it, or start smaller, if any of these is true:

  • You want to buy once and own the content: this is a subscription.
  • You expect a fixed income result. The plan description makes no such promise.
  • You would need more than a week to decide whether it works for you.
  • You only want the core sessions. Gold or the free plan may already be enough.

How can you try NeuroGym without paying for Platinum?

There are three cheaper entry points. The free plan gives you 10 AI chats a month, voice chat and preview access to the Foundation content, which is enough to judge the style. The free Brainathon training shows how Assaraf teaches, at no ticket price; our Brainathon 3.0 review lays out what it covers and where the paid offer comes in. And if you do want the paid plan, monthly is the lower-risk way to start: you can cancel from the billing portal, and at $97 you find out within a week whether the habit sticks before the annual commitment of $497.

My practical rule: start with the free plan, move to monthly if you like it, and switch to annual only after a few months of real use, because that is when the $667 saving starts to matter and the refund window no longer is.

Verdict: is NeuroGym Platinum worth $497 a year?

It is worth it for a specific person: someone who will train daily, wants the money-mindset programs and live sessions, and is comfortable with a subscription. For that person the annual price is modest next to the amount of content. It is a weaker deal for anyone who is curious, undecided or hoping for a guaranteed outcome, because the exit is a single week and the complaints about refunds are consistent.

What I would do is read the official pricing and refund pages yourself, confirm the price on the day, and open the platform the moment you pay. If it is not for you, email for the refund before day seven.

Frequently asked questions about NeuroGym Platinum

How much does NeuroGym Platinum cost?

NeuroGym Platinum is $97 a month or $497 a year on the official pricing page, checked September 30, 2026. The annual plan works out to about $41 a month and saves $667 a year against paying monthly. NeuroGym labels these prices a limited-time launch special, so confirm the number on the checkout page before you pay.

Is NeuroGym Platinum worth it?

It is worth it if you will use the daily sessions and the live trainings for at least several months, and you want the money, fear and procrastination programs that Gold leaves out. It is not worth it as a one-off purchase or if you need a long refund window: the money-back guarantee covers 7 days only. Start with a free account, or with the monthly plan, before committing to a year.

Is there a free trial for NeuroGym Platinum?

NeuroGym has a free plan with 10 AI chats a month, voice chat and preview access to the Foundation content. The pricing page FAQ also mentions a 7-day free trial, but the refund policy only documents a 7-day money-back guarantee, so I could not confirm that a paid plan starts without a charge. Read the checkout screen and see whether your card is billed today.

Can I get a refund on NeuroGym Platinum?

Yes, for 7 days. The NeuroGym refund policy gives platform memberships a 7-day money-back guarantee from the purchase date, requested by email to support@myneurogym.com or through the Contact Us page. After 7 days no refunds are issued for membership charges, and that includes the $497 annual plan.

How do I cancel NeuroGym Platinum?

Log in, open your platform settings and press Manage Subscription, which opens NeuroGym’s Stripe billing portal. The pricing page says there are no cancellation fees and that plan changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Cancelling stops the next charge, but it does not refund a period you have already paid for once the 7 days are over.

What is the difference between NeuroGym Gold and Platinum?

Platinum adds the full content library, 700+ innercises instead of 300+, all 42+ AI coaches instead of 10+, four live trainings a month instead of two, VIP private sessions, the Winning the Game of Money, Fear and Procrastination programs, high-fidelity voice AI coaching, early access to new programs and priority support. Gold costs $47 a month or $297 a year.

Is NeuroGym the same as Innercise?

They belong to the same company. Innercise is NeuroGym’s name for a guided brain-training session, and also the name of John Assaraf’s book and of the mobile app, which is listed on the App Store as NeuroGym Brain Training. The Gold and Platinum memberships are the subscription layer on top of that content.

Is NeuroGym legit?

The company is real and the product exists: NeuroGym LLC publishes the app, a refund policy and a billing portal, and John Assaraf is its founder. The recurring complaints are about refund handling, slow support and sales pressure after free webinars, not about the product failing to exist. Treat it as a legitimate business with a sales-heavy funnel.

Does NeuroGym guarantee results or income?

I found no income guarantee in the Platinum plan description. NeuroGym’s terms say it does not guarantee the quality or usefulness of what its AI coaches say. The 200% Double Your Investment Guarantee in its refund policy belongs to a different program, Winning the Game of Business VIP Elite, with strict conditions, and it does not cover Platinum.

How is NeuroGym Platinum different from the free Brainathon?

Brainathon 3.0 is a free three-hour live training that NeuroGym runs most Saturdays. Platinum is the paid membership that the free training leads to. Attending the free event costs nothing, and you can read what it covers before you decide whether a paid plan is next.
